Visit of the Partners from Italy

On 5 July 2023, Vice-Rector for International and Interuniversity Cooperation of the University of Banja Luka Prof. Milica Balaban, PhD, met with the representatives of four partner universities from Italy.

The meeting was attended by Silvia Mangialardo and Caterina Cipriani from the Polytechnic University of Marche, Lucia Bartolucci from the University of Urbino Carlo Bo, Goranka Rocco from the University of Ferrara and Enrico Ferretti from the University of Macerata.

The visit took place as part of the Erasmus+ programme and the International Credit Mobility project Erasmus+ Consortium “UniAdrion Italy”. The consortium brings together 13 Italian universities that belong to the UniAdrion “Network of Universities”, and the coordinator is the Polytechnic University of Marche. The project lasted 24 months for activities with the so-called programme countries (Italy, Croatia, Greece, Serbia and Slovenia) and 36 months for activities with the so-called partner countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro), and ends by the end of July 2023.

The meeting at the Rectorate of the University of Banja Luka was an opportunity to define the conditions and way of announcing the competition for student scholarships, as well as the types and periods of student exchanges. Moreover, there talks were conducted about the management of the project that was reported in the last call, and about the activities of the Erasmus Student Network, which is in the process of being established in the Republic of Srpska, i.e., Banja Luka.

In addition to the meeting at the Rectorate, the guests had the opportunity to be toured around the University Campus, as well as the city under the guidance of Vice-Dean for Scientific Research and International Cooperation of the Faculty of Philology Prof. Zorana Kovačević, PhD.
