Reception for the Student from Seoul

On 14 March 2024, Vice-Rector for International and Interuniversity Cooperation of the University of Banja Luka Prof. Kristina Pantelić Babić, PhD, talked with the student of the Department of Industrial Design of Seoul Sungshin Women's University, Xobin Jun, who is on a student exchange at our higher education institution. 

Xobin Jun is on an exchange programme at the Academy of Arts, under the bilateral agreement signed between the University of Banja Luka and Seoul Sungshin Women's University. She plans to pursue graphic design in the future, which is why she chose to stay at the Academy of Arts, where she takes six courses in the summer semester. As she pointed out, she is satisfied with the conditions of studying at the University of Banja Luka and with how she has been accepted by colleagues and professors.

Last year, another student from the Sungshin Women's University was on the exchange programme at the University of Banja Luka. The student was from the Department of Medical Sciences, Jae Won Kim, who studied chemistry and biology at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics of the University of Banja Luka.

Seoul Sungshin Women's University was founded in 1936, and today it is the second best women's university in South Korea, where about 13,000 students study in 45 study programmes distributed among ten faculties.
