ACROSS Summer School – Call for Lecturers

The University of Udine invites lecturers from partner universities to participate in delivering the summer school on financial markets and intermediaries, which will be held in Pordenone, Italy, during July 2026. Exact dates will be announced later.

The course will be offered in a blended format – participants will first work with online preparatory materials, and the in-person sessions will take place in Pordenone. It is designed for 36 students, divided into four groups of nine, and lectures will be conducted in English.

The programme provides a practical and theoretical introduction to financial markets and intermediaries from a European perspective. Morning lectures cover banking, insurance, and capital markets, while afternoon sessions consist of interactive workshops with student rotations through activities such as Bloomberg Lab, guided bibliographic research, analysis of banking and insurance supervision in the EU. The week concludes with group presentations on the financial systems of ACROSS Alliance countries and a study excursion with a cultural programme.
