Events Dedicated to the 48th Anniversary of the University

The University of Banja Luka is celebrating 48 years of successful work and development with a series of events.

The central event to be held in honour of the 48th anniversary of the University of Banja Luka is the Solemn Academy on 7 November 2023 at noon in the "Banski dvor" Cultural Centre in Banja Luka.

As in previous years, the Ceremonial Academy will be preceded by a commemoration and laying of wreaths on the memorial plaque to the fallen students and employees of the University of Banja Luka on 6 November 2023 at 10 am, on the plateau between the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.

Traditionally, on the occasion of the anniversary of the University, we also organize a ceremonial promotion of PhDs. The promotion of PhDs who successfully defended their doctoral dissertations at the University of Banja Luka in the past year will be held on 9 November 2023 in the lecturing hall of the Faculty of Political Science at 10 am.

The science conference at the University of Banja Luka is scheduled for 10 November 2023 at 10 am in the lecturing hall of the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy.

The scientific conference “Students Encountering Science”, organized by the Students’ Parliament, will be held from 23 to 25 November.

By the end of this year, as part of the events dedicated to the anniversary of the leading higher education institution in the Republic of Srpska, several faculties plan to mark their anniversaries by promoting the graduates of the first and second cycle of study and organizing scientific conferences and meetings.
