The University of Banja Luka, in cooperation with the University of Towson and the Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences, organized an online event on 27 April 2021 dedicated to the exchange of experiences on the development of entrepreneurship at universities.

Interested students and employees at the University of Banja Luka, Towson University and the Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences, but also the general public, had the opportunity to hear what the best practices for the development of student entrepreneurship are and how these practices have changed over time, from business plans to innovation and creative thinking. It was also about what strategies and methods universities use to recognize students who have an entrepreneurial spirit. Also, participants could hear about the role of community partnerships and mentoring to support entrepreneurship and innovation on university campuses, i.e., the role of universities in the innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem, as well as how to measure the impact of cooperation with companies and local and regional actors.

At the very beginning of the event, those present were greeted on behalf of the three universities by: dr. Kim Schatzel, President of Towson University, prof. Mait Rungi, Rector of the Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences and prof. Dalibor Kesić, PhD, Vice Rector for Human and Material Resources of the University of Banja Luka.
