Farewell Reception in Honour of the Chinese Ambassador

On 8 February 2024, the University of Banja Luka delegation attended the reception of the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China Ji Ping, which was organized in honour of the Chinese New Year and his departure from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Vice-Rector for Material and Human Resources Prof. Dalibor Kesić, PhD, and Confucius Institute Home Director Asst. Prof. Ljiljana Stević, PhD, who is also the Head of the Sinology Study Programme at the Faculty of Philology, attended the reception in Sarajevo on behalf of the University of Banja Luka. Teaching Assistant Anja Mudrenović, MA, and Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Political Science of the University of Banja Luka Nina Sajić, PhD,  were also present.

In his speech, Ji Ping emphasized that the past five years, which he spent as the ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina, have brought a lot of memories that witnessed the stable and healthy development of bilateral relations. Furthermore, the ambassador emphasized that cooperation in many areas has been strengthened.
