Prof. Dr Radoslav Gajanin, Rector of the University of Banja Luka, and Armin Talić, general manager of BIT Alliance, have signed the Memorandum of Cooperation on December 28, 2018.
The Memorandum has been signed in the premises of the Rectorate at the University of Banja Luka, and the signees have obligated to collaborate in events that are of mutual interest, while strengthening and developing the information society.
As such, this Memorandum sets a base for cooperation in education, especially in the field of information technologies at the first and the second study cycle. Furthermore, joint projects are planned in order to further develop science and profession.
It is also planned to carry out a scientific-professional cooperation in the form of training and specialized courses, and for the purpose of mutual development.
Activities such as round tables and seminars are also planned in order to improve the work of the University and Bit Alliance.
Prior to the signing of the Memorandum, a meeting between the representatives of the two institutions was held.
Together with the Rector, the meeting was attended by Prof. Dr Goran Latinovic, Vice-Rector for Scientific Research and Development, and Prof. Dr Billjana Antunovic, Vice-Rector for International and Interuniversity cooperation.
During the meeting, the delegates agreed on activities that focus on the IT sector development.
