Memorandum on understanding with East China University of Political Science and Law signed

On 17 September 2018, the Rectors of the University of Banja Luka and East China University of Political Science and Law, Prof. Radoslav Gajanin, PhD, and Prof. Ye Qing, PhD respectively, signed the Memorandum on Understanding between the two institutions.

This document is signed with a view to strengthening international academic exchange and intensifying research activities at both institutions, with a cooperation also taking the form of joint academic conferences and similar events and activities.

Prior to the ceremony of signing the Memorandum, there was a meeting held, at which Prof. Zeljko Mirjanic, PhD, and Prof. Zdravko Zlokapa, PhD, the Deans of the Faculty of Law and Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Banja Luka respectively, offered concrete forms of cooperation to their Chinese counterparts.

Prof. Gajanin expressed his gratitude to the Chinese delegation for their visit and his wishes for a successful cooperation in all fields, and informed them on the history and internal organization of the University of Banja Luka, 

The meeting was also attended by Prof. Goran Latinovic, PhD, Vice-Rector for Scientific Research and Development, Prof. Zeljko Mirjanic, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Zdravko Zlokapa, PhD, Dean of the faculty of Political Sciences, Dr. Aleksandar Vranjes, assistant professor, Vice-Dean for Scientific Research of the Faculty of Political Sciences, Prof. Dusko Trninnic, PhD, Vice-Dean for Education of the Faculty of Political Sciences, and Dr. Igor Milinkovic, Vice-Dean for Scientific Research of the Faculty of Law, representing the host institution,  and by Dr. Xia Fei, Vice-Rector for International Exchange, Dr. Li Feng, professor of sociology, as well as by Dr. He Ping, Dr. Wang Jian, and Dr. Wang Xiaohua, professors of law, representing the East China University of Political Science and Law.

This is the first time a delegation of the aforementioned university, which houses 21,000 students at 15 faculties at two campuses, providing them with an opportunity to choose between the fields of law, sociology, political science, management, and literature, has visited Bosnia and Herzegovina, that is, the Republic of Srpska and the city of Banja Luka.
