Visit to Monash University in Melbourne

Professor Goran Latinović, a Vice-Rector for Scientific Research and Development, visited Monash University in Melbourne on the 8th of August 2018. 

His host was Mr. James Shelton, Senior Manager for International Relations. Professor Latinovic and Mr. Shelton talked about possibilities of establishing some cooperation between the two universities.

Mr. Shelton explained that Monash University's international strategy in Europe was focused around their centre in Prato, Italy, and that Monash University had a limited number of partnership with European universities. However, an invitation to visit University of Banja Luka was received and it remained as a possibility in next years. 

Monash university was founded in 1958. It has more than 8.000 academic staff and more than 70.000 students. Monash University is one of leading Australian universities and on the 78th position in the World, according to the Academic Ranking of World Universities (Shanghai Ranking).
