Vice-Rector Antunovic at the conference in Rome

Prof. Biljana Antunovic, Vice-Rector for International and Inter-University Cooperation of the University of Banja Luka, participated at the 4th joint scientific conference on Western Balkans/Berlin process, held in Rome (Italy) on 30 May – 1 June 2018.

The conference, entitled ‘Convergence, cohesion, and cooperation in Southeast Europe’, was organized by the Italian Academy of Sciences and Arts, in cooperation with the Leopoldina, the German National Academy of Sciences, with a view to providing formal recommendations to the Summit of Heads of State and Prime Ministers of the Western Balkans, to be held in London (Great Britain) on 10 July 2018.

The Rome conference was attended by chairpersons of respective academies of sciences and arts of the Balkan countries, along with their counterparts from France, Germany, and Italy, rectors of the greatest Balkan universities and chairpersons of the rectors’ conferences from  France, Germany, and Italy respectively, as well as renowned researchers and heads of academic centres and institutes from the area concerned.
