Working meeting with the Vice-Rector from the University of East London

On September 19th 2014 Prof. dr Nora Ann Colton, Vice-Rector of the University of East London (UEL), was welcomed during her official visit to the University of Banja Luka by Prof. dr Valerija Šaula, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation of the University of Banja Luka, and Prof. dr Jovo Ateljević, member of the Council for Higher Education and Quality Assurance of the Republic of Srpska and also a professor at the the Faculty of Economics of the University of Banja Luka.



Prof. Colton is a speaker at the round table dedicated to the perspectives of development of higher education in the Republic of Srpska, with the topic on how to link universities with the business environment, organized by the Council for Higher Education and Quality Assurance of the Republic of Srpska.

The topics discussed at the meeting in the Rectorate concerned the cooperation between the two universities, the emphasis being put on organizing summer schools and short study trips for students, aimed at language skills improvement, engaging English language lectors from UEL at the English Language Department of the Faculty of Philology of the University of Banja Luka and getting the members of academic staff from the University of Eastern London involved at master-degree courses in the field of business administration to be delivered in English at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Banja Luka as of the following academic year.
